2A proverb is a simple and concrete saying popularly known and revered, which expresses a truth, based on common sense or the practical experience of humanity. Whereas African Proverbs offer wisdom and poetry in just one sentence, the proverbs can convey wisdom, truth, a discovery of ideas, as well as life lessons.

One proverb that is relevant to the theme of this Leadership Today’s second edition, whose theme is “Planning: The means to your vision is” A vision without a plan is just a dream. A plan without a vision is drudgery but a vision with a vision can change the world.”
