10Technology has changed the way we do things. Almost every aspect of our life is driven by technology. It is no longer a surprise to see, in any given group of people, nearly half of them glued to their smartphones or electronic devices. They possibly would be engaged in different things – checking email, reviewing new Facebook posts, tweeting or updating their instagram status, and so much more.

“Technology is rewiring our brains,” said Nora Volkow, director of the National Institute of Drug Abuse and one of the world’s leading brain scientists. She and other researchers compare the lure of digital stimulation less to that of drugs and alcohol than to food and sex, which are essential but counterproductive in excess.

Dr. David Murray, a Professor of Old Testament and Practical Theology at Puritan Reformed Seminary states that technology can be a wonderful servant but a terrible master.
